"Stupid" People in the Church ...and how not to be one

A little over a year ago I had the opportunity to rerecord Steve Camos song "Agony of Deceit" with Campi and some friends in the studio in LA.
Steve shared with me the story of how the song was written about TBN.
Funny how the folks at TBN constantly will act like martyrs when they are in trouble.
Ant they usually have bought the problems on themselves.
When we rerecorded Agony the founder of TBN was in trouble again at the time of our recording.
I have played in many churches and shows on TBN and its a coveted position among many church leaders.
Why?
So they can sell their stuff at the Christian marketplace.
Im amazed how many false teachers and false prophets this station has on it.
Whats even more amazing though is the true teachers who will still have their show on this station.
I wrote my book "Pa$$ The Plate And Let Us Prey-My search for Black and White Christianity in a Gray Nation" about many of the false teachers and hucksters I have played for.

Why people will still give to these ministries is beyond me.
The Bible says it best of course in 2 Timothy 4:3-4

"3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables."

That why people continue to give money away to hucksters and continue to support programs that come out of a new religion like PDL.
