Surprise me God?

I have just recently found out about the tragic death of a young man named Kyle Lake who leaves behind a wife and daughter.
Kyle was kicking off a program titled "Surprise Me God" this program is known as a experiment.
10 minutes after kicking off the program Kyle was electrocuted and killed when he started with a baptism. You can read the story here

I want to be really careful here and we need to keep the mans wife and daughter in prayer. They witnessed the death and we need to hold everyone who attended this up in prayer. I've never witnessed anyone dying in person. Let alone someone who was very close to me.
What is this program that this young man was kicking off?
It's called Surprise Me God.
You can read more about it here.

Terry Esau is the author of this experiment and Terry refers to God as the "Surprise-Meister so right there goes my respect for what Terry thinks of God. To refer to God in such a shallow manner is a real slap in the face to Gods holiness.
Amongst the tragedy of this event I ask you to look at what happened.
The death took place 10 minutes after the introduction of the Surprise me God experiment.
The author of this experiment was present to see all that transpired as well.
I ask you to look at the timing and what happened.
And then you decide if God is blessing the Surprise Me God experiment.

Pray for the family of this young man and all who witnessed this terrible death. But also pray for wisdom and spiritual discernment for the Body of Christ.

I can't express the hurt I feel. Kyle was my friend and the brother-in-law of my pastor. If you are suggesting that God was just teaching everyone a lesson or playing some sort of cosmic joke, I will pray for God's mercy on you. This has to be one of the most insensitive fallacies I have ever encountered. I am shocked, saddened, an wonder how anyone who calls himself a Christian can utter something as vile as this and not see the error. A little girl and her younger twin brothers will now grow up without a father. A wonderful church will now be without a pastor. His friends are mourning a great loss. Please consider these things.
