You shall know them by their fruits

Its not very popular sometimes to be a watchman in discernment ministry because they have to deal with a lot of negative issues within the church.
False preaching, the Emergent movement, PDL, seeker sensitive when dealing with these issues you sometimes get heat from the followers of these movements.
Even in my debates with Warrens ex unofficial spokemans Richard Abanes and others its tossed around-"Well you don't know Rick" , "don't criticize a Christian brother", etc... and the rhetoric goes on.
Number one -No I have never met Rick Warren.
But how do I really know Warren or any others that I draw attention to here?
Matt 7:15-16 states "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits."
And again in verse 20 "Therefore by their fruits you shall know them."

2 Peter 2:18 "For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error."
In Jude 4 in states "For certain men have crept in unaware"
2Peter 2:1 "But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you

So yes even though you may have never met a person you can be sure that you will KNOW them by their fruit. And fruit does not mean monetary success or a following or huge book sales.
There are many successful people who have huge followings that do not follow the Lord Jesus.
Instead Rick Warren and others choose to follow people like Peter Drucker and his teachings.
You will know them by their fruits.
