Calvary Chapel and Chuck Smith SR and JR promoting mystics/contemplative prayer

This has been a real hot item lately. Many, many churches are in the process of falling away from the Christian faith. Such as those who use the business systems and methods of both Bill Hybels of Willowcreek and Rick Warren of Saddleback. These gentlemen methods have nothing to do with biblical based Christianity and are just manager buisness driven methods of growing a business-not a church. Their methods will ruin your church and probably make it apostate. But their methods with usually grow your business and put butts in the seats.
I was really surprised to see Chuck Smith/Calvary Temple going the contemplative/mystic route. But it just goes to show you anyone can be deceived so keep in the word of God and hold everything to the light of scripture.
I would encourage you to pray for Chuck and his son (JR does promote contemplative).
