Have The Following Gourds Infected Your Church? Part Four

Many churches coddle milk Christians and never bring them forth into maturity. They are then open prey for Wicca, the New Age Movement, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, and the real wild gourdes known as the Pentecostals. These people are unskilled in the word of righteousness because they know so little about discernment (Hebrews 5:14). We seem to have more burping babes that feed themselves on a diet of milk and have become Baby Huey believers who prefer to stay in their spiritual diapers. But baby Christians are cited by Scripture as carnal (1 Corinthians 3:1-4). Paul said that he could not speak to them as unto spiritual for they were carnal and acting as mere men.

Elisha added flour to the pot that took away the poisonous influences on the stew. Our flour today is the word of God and by using that measure we can remove the poisonous influences that are sweeping the church today. Or do we prefer to stand by without even lifting a finger to help one that is ingesting that witches broth? Some people even try and stop you from added flour to the pot. "THEY HAVE REJECTED THE WORD OF THE LORD, SO WHAT WISDOM DO THEY HAVE?"- JEREMIAH 8:9.

If that describes either you or your church then you do indeed have poison in your pot. Pray for those that desire poison in their doctrine that they will come to a knowledge of the truth and cease being led with fables. Fables are for children; not mature adults that should be following Jesus Christ.
