Am I trying to take Saddleback and Rick Warren down?

Absolutly not.
Thats not going to happen Rick Warren and Saddleback will keep going like the energizer bunny.
Except Rick Warrens new relgion is not empowered by God.
And you folks following Rick Warren and his new religion better think long and hard on that, as well as check the scriptures to see if what is being said is true.

I think Saddleback has its thriving years ahead of them. Why do I say this?
Because of what the Bible teaches.
2 Thess 2:3
"Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,

1 Timothy 4:1
"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,"

2 Timothy 4:3
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers"

So Saddleback and purpose driven becoming even more known and accepted by both the world and Christians is a actual fullfilment of scripture.
Some are starting to understand what Slick Rick and his religion are really about .
Here is a comment I found from a ex Saddlebacker on the web

I'm ex-Saddleback member. I was saved there, but when I actually read the bible for myself, I found that I was out of alignment with the megachurch.

Saddleback refuses to teach the literal bible as it stands. Warren has to bolster what the Bible says with quotes from philosophers and phsychologists.

There are some occasional good teachings at Saddleback by the associate pastors, but it seems entertainment themed, rather than "cross"-themed. It's the "Disneyland" of churches, complete with parking shuttles, a mock "tomb of Jesus" and a children's education building that has an "ark" playground.

Couple that with the South OC "church coture", women in skin tight jeans and cleavage-bearing tops... it's so much "of the world" that it turns seeker-friendly into something very disturbing.

Then you add to it, the coffee shop terrace and the book-selling pavillion and it's starting to look like a like a Christian Mall, or maybe that's just part of the "gift shop" concept borrowed from Disneyland.

If Rick Warren, as a CFR member is this naive about Syria, how Naive is he about the Bible?

Well... for one, he does precious little teaching about the coming anti-christ and the return of Jesus. If he is Naive about Syria, will he be naive about anti-christ? "-end of comment

We need to keep praying that God will continue to open the eyes of those blinded by the false light of Rick Warrens religion.

Rick Warren may be naive as Jim Bakker was when he said that he never before saw Matthew 6:24 about serving God and Mammon which you cannot do.
