Encouragment for disernment ministries
Sometimes Folks who have been called to be a watchman and warn the Body of Christ or error and apostasy in the church the ministry can get really tiring and discouraging and we think no one is listening.
Most of all when we speak to people in cults and churches like Saddleback or Willow Creek.
But what can we expect when the leadership of churches and cults have no disercnment. This affects their followers.
Think of the ministry God gave Ezekiel.
God let Ezekiel know that people would not listen but to speak to them anyway.
Doesnt sound very fun does it?
And it sure doesnt get the applause unsaved speakers get from Rick Warrens pulpit or Hybels pulpit as well.
Here is what God told Ezekiel-
Ezekiel 2:7 "You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious.
Ezekiel 3:7 But the house of Israel will not listen to you, because they will not listen to Me; for all the house of Israel are impudent and hard?hearted.
Ezekiel 3:18-19
"When I say to the wicked, ?You shall surely die,? and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.
"Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
Doesnt sound very fun does it?
You probably will not get a standing ovation or earth.
But the hosts of heaven applaud you.

I WAS one of those called to be a watchman to expose error in the body of Christ. I have been spiritually beaten so many times it isn't even funny. What is even worse is going through spiritual battles having everyone pointing fingers and not getting any support, being looked upon as being some type of freak.
Jeremiah 20:7-18 speaks of how God uses me for whatever reason when He wants. My only comfort is that I know it isn't me speaking when I speak. It isn't my nature to speak out on my own and stick my "neck" out.
I know the road is broad and the gate is narrow. I believe it with all my soul. All I know is on Judgement day there will be MANY who will be weeping. Heaven will be less populated than the church thinks.
Everyone will have to answer Mark 8:29a and not one of us will be able to fake it.
The Body of Christ needs more people like you willing to put it on the line for our Savior.
