Lip, but Not Heart, Service

To add to what Brother Tim just said about discernment, listen to these additional words from the prophet Ezekiel-

"Everyone says to his brother, Please, come and hear what the word is that comes from the Lord. So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; For with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain"- Ezekiel 33:30-31. "Saying, when will the New Moon be past, that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may trade our wheat? Making the ephah small and the shekel large, falsifying the balances by deceit, that we may sell the poor for silver and the needy for a pair of shoes. Even sell the bad wheat"- Amos 8:5-6.

Merchants of that day were planning on how to cheat the poor even while under the Sabbath and couldn't wait for it to be over for that very purpose. "Shall I count pure those with the wicked balances? And with the bag of deceitful weights? For her rich men are full of violence, her inhabitants have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth"- Micah 6:11-12. "Your habitation is in the midst of deceit; Through deceit they refuse to know Me, says the Lord"- Jeremiah 9:6.

"These people draw near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. AND IN VAIN THEY WORSHIP ME, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men"- Matthew 15:8-9. We have so many in the collective houses of God who do not practice discernment. Pray for a measure of discernment for these people so that they can stop playing church!
