Rick Warren and the New christianity

2 Thess 2:3

"Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,"


No there was no typo in my title i believe what businessman Rick Warren is selling is a false poor imitation of Christianity.
What Rick sells to over 400,00 blinded pastors and leaders every week from his ministry toolbox has little to do with Christ but a lot to do with success and growth which many times equals profit.
It is centered on what man whats and can do, not pastors and leaders seeking Gods will through His Holy Spirit.

Here is a quote from a recent toolbox article-
"Before you can grow your church to the next level, you’ve got to fully understand where you are at now."

Notice the focus is on you no mention of seeking Gods will here.

Throughout the article Rick never mentions scripture of Jesus at all.
Instead of quoting scripture Rick Quotes Rick.


"It is very rare to find a person who is able to be skilled at all three of these levels. Generally, you’ll be good at one.

Now Rick does mention God once in this article-
"And I know many of you are still in that stage, and I want to encourage you to stick to the vision God has placed in your heart)."

What God is Rick talking about here?
Im not sure since Rick seems to worship a god who is ok on promoting Harry Potter which in turn promotes occult practice.
Thats not the same God I worship.
Does Rick even know what God is being promoted in the church he manages?
Check this quote-
"Now that I am at the executive level, I know very little of what's going on in the church, in terms of detail."

In conclusion Rick Warren and other businessmen are forming a new christianity beware you are not deceived.
Here is some wise words from a friend and brother in the Lord of mine Sandy Simpson

"Hope all is well with you in the Lord. Discernment is not an option for Christians ... it is an indication whether or not they have been brought to maturity in Christ. Today discernment is more necessary than at any other time in history because so many false teachers and false prophets have gone out. Yet many churches, having been diapraxed by the world and false teaching, have taught Christians to apply the "judge not lest you be judged" Matt. 7:1 passage to everything. But that admonitoin from the Lord is talking about hypocritcal judging, not ALL types of judging. There are some types of judging that the Bible COMMANDS Christians to excercise. It is my hope that those on this email list are practicing discrenment, testing all things, holding on to the good. That does not mean we listen to false teachers eating the meat and spitting out the bones. Would you stick a whole fish in your mouth to eat it? No. We are to avoid the bones to begin with. We are to stay away from false teachers, not let them in our homes, and not give them our blessing until they repent and return to orthodoxy. We are to keep our clothes clean from the world, the flesh, and the enemies messengers ... wolves in sheep's clothing.
