Coming to terms with terms

In the last article I posted it listed the term evangelical Christian. Well I don't know about you but these days I would not want to be lumped in this crowd. Plus believing what the Bible teaches should not lump you into this crowd.
You either believe in what the Bible teaches or you don't.
The Bible is very clear about Jesus being the only way to the Father.
So you are either saved-or not.
Any other belief other than Jesus as the way to live forever in heaven is just wrong.
The bottom line is the bottom line.
So when certain terms are used keep in mind the Bible is our only authority for truth.
And unless you have been saved through faith in Jesus you will not be able to be lead into all truth by The Holy Spirit.
So we need to come to terms with terms.

As for me call me what you will I just want to follow Jesus. And obey His commandments.

I personally do not understand the rush to the whole Emergent Church thing. Why are churches in such a hurry to run over this clif? In my own church, the whole motivation seems to be money. They just finished a large building project and now they have to pay the piper. They are looking at a supposed large number of new "converts" just because they have candles and weird lighting, and the worship team is wearing jeans now.
I agree with you on the whole terms thing. If this is what it means to be an evangelical, then I don't know what I am anymore besides just being a believer in Christ.
