The person's house needs painting so the person agrees.
The man who is doing the painting asks for $200.00 upfront for paint and materials.

The man never shows up to paint the following week.
One month later the same man shows up at the persons house and asks the person if he would like the house painted.
The person again agrees.
The man asks for $200.00 upfront for paint and materials.
The person gives the man $200.00 again.
The man promises to return in one week to paint the house.
The man never shows up to paint the following week.
One month later the same man shows up....
You get the gag.
Im going to do a series of articles of people and things Stuck in Stupid.
To lead this first article off I want to caution you that the link I am providing is to a Focus on the Family website but it contain a very graphic movie review which about made me sick.
It is a movie review on the movie "Hostel"which is a torture flick.
Who would have ever thought people would want to watch other people getting tortured as a form of entertainment.
Here is the link.

Here is Plugged In's mission statement from their website.
"Plugged In is a Focus on the Family publication designed to help equip parents, youth leaders, ministers and teens with the essential tools that will enable them to understand, navigate and impact the culture in which they live. Entertainment is a potent influence on our culture for both good and evil. Through our reviews and discussions of that entertainment, we hope to spark intellectual thought, family discussion, spiritual growth and a strong desire to follow the command of Colossians 2:8. "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ."
Now how is reviewing a torture flick and many other R rated movies a essential tool for anything
Movies are rated R for a reason.
What about the reviewers who have to sit through these movies with all the sex and violence.
Watching naked women and violence for the cause of Christ do they know thatChristians should not go to these movies?
WHAT????
They even list a positive element in their review of "Hostel."
WHAT??????
HUH????
No where in the article do they mention to the folks not to go to this flick.
They just caution it's not for children.
DUH!!!
SorryIm not articulating here but this is a real no brainer.
Therefore To Focus on the Family and all the staff at "plugged in."
You are officially STUCK IN STUPID.
Maybe you should get plugged into the word of God?
Just a thought.
