Foul Mouth Emergent beware

Here is a link to a post on Ingrids site.

The conclusion I have came to even after some very nice emails from Dan Kimball.
Emergent fruit is not of God. The followers of Emergent speak for themselves.
Do I think that The Emergent church will stop of is just a fad.
Absolutely not.

The Bible speaks of all this in Matt 24:4
"And Jesus answered and said to them. :Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many.

In Matt 7:15-20 it also states
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather thornbushes or figs from thistles?
Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Therefore by their fruit you shall know them."
The Emergent fruit is on display at their various websites.
They rebelliously make it quite plain that they have unrepentant attitudes.

Now I know we are all a work in progress but the Emergents are very honest about uses of bad language and letting you know they love the culture of the unsaved and plan to stay and bask in it.

They have also redefined sin and made it relative to the culture of the unsaved.
However God's standards remain the same inspite of what culture dictates.
With the majority of Emergents I believe we are dealing with unsaved individuals who really believe they are saved.

So inspite of what certain Emergent leaders may state the bottom line is they are still teaching kids occult practices and they are reaping the fruit from teaching that their followers need to remain part of the culture to reach the culture.

When the Bibles teaches to come out from among the unclean thing.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. (KJV)

And as to the pagan rituals like Lectio, labyrinths, centering prayer Job 14:4 address this.
Job 14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean?

The fruit of the Emergent church speaks for itself.
Cann we stop this movement?
Absolutely not its all part of the end times.
All we can do is warn people.

You need to choose what side of the fence you will be on.
